YUCA features Nuevo Latino cuisine, which includes generous portions of meat and seafood accompanied by sweet plantains, and well, yuca of course! Executive Chef Ramon Medrano uses different sauces and coconut shells to skillfully create elaborate presentations. Try the Tasajo, sweet plantains wrapped around a savory cured beef filling - a Yuca original. Entrees such as the famous spicy Guava BBQ Back Ribs and the Mar y Tierra, beef tenderloin presented on an original lobster mash, are only a fraction of the unique dishes to choose from. And like the entrees, Pastry Chef Josefa Balbin's dessert portions are plentiful. Whether you indulge in the Tres Leches de Chocolate, chocolate sponge cake soaked in three milks finished with decadent chocolate mousse and crowned with homemade chocolate ice cream, or the famous Cuban Bread Pudding, the selection is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
